Justice Taiwo Taiwo of the Federal High Court in Abuja, has asked the Department of State Service to release the convener of Revolution Now protest, Omoyele Sowore, on bail.

The judge made the ruling after listening to the argument of Sowore’s lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN) and the prosecuting counsel.

The judge, as part of bail conditions, asked Sowore to drop his passport with the court within 48 hours.

The FG had accused Sowore of planning to topple the government and subsequently charged him for treason
